This data privacy statement provides information about the personal data that is processed when you apply for a position with us either online or by post.
Please also observe our general data privacy statement when you visit our website.
‘Personal data’ is all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This, for example, includes your name, your address and communication data or your email address.
‘Processing’ means any operation or series of operations carried out with or without the aid of automated procedures using personal data, such as the collation and collection, organisation and ordering, storage and adaptation or alteration. As well as the reading out and querying of such data, its use and disclosure by transfer, dissemination or any other form of provision. 4. The processing of personal data
4.1. Scope of data processing
You are able to apply online if you are interested in working for our company. You will find positions that we have advertised in the ‘Career’ menu. You may also send us an unsolicited application.
4.1.1. Email
We will process the data you send us when you apply to us by email.
4.1.2. Purpose of data processing
We process personal data in particular during the selection process for suitable candidates and the administrative handling of the application procedure in order to enable us to arrive at a decision about establishing an employment relationship.
4.1.3. Legal basis of processing
The legal basis is § 26 Abs. 1 BDSG-neu
4.2. Recipient of the personal data
Your personal data may be viewed by the personnel department and the specialist department responsible for filling the vacancy.
4.2.1. Duration of storage
We will process your data to establish the employment relationship should the application result in an employment relationship, The data will then be stored in our personnel management system.
If the application does not lead to an employment relationship, your data will be deleted three months after the end of the application procedure, taking into account the period for filing actions set out in the Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG – General Equality Act), unless you have given us your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 a) DSGVO and Art. 7 DSGVO for the long-term storage of your personal data in order to be possibly considered for new job offers.
4.2.2. Options for objecting and removing data
You may on request have the information you have transferred to us with deleted or updated at any time. Please send us an email to bewerbung@elektror.de to this end. This does not apply if you have already applied for a specific position with us in an ongoing application process. In such cases, we will store the information you have provided for this position until the periods for filing actions have elapsed (especially Art. 15 AGG).
5. Data security
We implement technical, contractual and organisational measures to ensure the security of data processing in accordance with the state of the art. It is in this way that we ensure that the regulations set out in the data-protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation, are observed and that the data we process is protected against destruction, loss, modification and unauthorised access. These security measures also include the encrypted transfer of data between your browser and our servers. Please note that SSL encryption is only activated for transfers effected over the Internet if the key symbol appears in the lower menu bar of your browser window and the address starts with http://https://. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) uses encryption technology to protect the transfer of data against illegal data access by third parties. You may also choose not to send certain data over the Internet if this option is not available.
All information that you transfer to us is stored and processed on our servers in the Federal Republic of Germany.
